Dearest Baby

Dearest Baby,

I want you to always know that your Daddy and I adore you. We love you so much that sometimes, we both go in your room at night, peer over your crib rail, and watch your precious tiny frame in sweet slumber. It is an overwhelming, unexplainable joy. I can't help but think these moments are a glimpse of heavenly joy.

Thank you so much for loaning us the most precious gift under heaven--our sweet baby girl. Everyday, her little life is a big reminder of how good you are.

We visited my sweet grandparents a few weekends ago and had a great time. We even found a picture of Mel and I when I was a baby, so we tried to replicate it with Claire!

Last weekend...

Was fun! We went to the twins' football game on Friday, and celebrated my awesome sister-in-law, Becca's birthday on Saturday downtown at PF Chang's. Claire ordered the Baby Buddha Feast, which was steamed broccoli and carrots.

We are all decked out for Chris's twin brothers' senior year football season... Gotta love Texas HS football :)

She was such a sport at the twins' game Friday night. I think she loved the band best of all! I'm so glad Chris' whole family was there... Awesome memories :)

Moving Fast

 Sleepy eyes because it's 30 minutes past bedtime...

and we are still waiting for the mattress pad and sheets to dry after the 'overflow incident' of last night.

I totally forgot to put everything in the dryer after I got home from work, and it was still in the washer at bedtime.

It sucks when "Overnight" diapers don't live up to their name. Boo.

But, a photo shoot resulted, so that's always nice :)

Oh, and did I mention this girl is crawling? Life as we know it is starting to move fast...
